iii THE HON. ME. FISHER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Westport, Last Night. The Hon. F. M. B. Fisher visited Karamea, travelling overland yesterday morning, and returned to-night. While in Karamea he received a number of deputations, inspected the harbor and delivered a public address, receiving, a hearty vote of thanks and an expression of confidence in the Government. On his return to Seddonville to-night the Minister delivered another public address .and at the conclusion, on the motion of Mr. J. Cummings, president of the Seddonville Miners' Union., who had been very persistent in asking the Minister questions, was accorded a hearty vote of thanks. The Minister leaves overland to-morrow for Picton, to unveil, on Monday, the Captain Cook memorial.
