AYellington, Last Might. Ihe Magistrate's Court's proceedings to-day were somewhat protracted by a reversion to the practice -of reading over the whole of the witnesses' evidence at the conclusion of un examination to the accused person. This is in couformitv with .section 148 of the Justices of the Peace Act, and the practice, which has been more or less in abeyance for some years, was readoptcd as the outcome of an objection raised by counsel in a Supreme Court case this week.
