During the holidays we have had very heavy rains and gales in several parts of the country, but, on the other band, it has continued quite mild. Ot way's butters are only partially cleared, and there are only a few butters lauded ex the s.s. Wiltshire. This shipment will really not, be oil the market until next week. Xew Zealand: The s.s. Tiuahinc is expected to dock to-night. We look for a much better trade, and an increased demand immediately the trade has settled down to business. Cheese.—This is also on the quiet side, and the turn of price is in the buyers'
