TARANAKI SHOW.

A BRIGHT PROSPECT. From a general conversation with Mr. Arthur Cliff, tho secretary of the Turanaki Agricultural Society, we "ather that the coming Show, which is to -be held at Isew Plymouth on February 2fltli and 27th, is going to 'be a record" Show for Taranaki. Already the secretary is m receipt of some hundreds of entries in all the sections from different parts of the Dominion, and especially from the outside districts. Entries in the stock sections are to hand from Hawke's Bay, the Wairarapa, and also the South Island. This is very promising, as with the extra support that will be forthcoming from the New Plymouth district, owing to the Show now being held at a more convenient time of the year than hitherto, we think tho Society is assured Of a record Show. Farmers will also bo pleased to note that- they are guaranteed a good display of machinery, as already a large amount of space has been applied for, several milking machine proprietors «s well as agricultural implement manufacturers. having booked space. Entries clo>e on the 15th inst., and we would recommend that early application be made for space, thereby assisting the clerical staff engaged m compiling the catalogue, and also ensuring that the exhibitor will secure the best stand available.
