The Daily Chronicle and the Westminster Gazette roundly condemn the attack on Mr. Marconi that was lately made by Mr. W. R. Lawson, the financial journalist, when giving evidence before the Parliamentary Committee that is investigating the Marconi wireless contract. The Gazette points out that Mr. Lawson had to admit that he speculated in share? himself, and that he depended for a jirolit upon a fall in price.
