THE INSURANCE ACT. THE WOKKKRS' DEMANDS. By Cable —Press Association —Copyright. London, January 31. The Labor Conference passed a resolution that the insurance amendment should beeome universal and non-eon-tributory. The conference favored an eight hours' day for all works, the abolition of unemployment, a national minimum wage of 30s weekly, complete provision against sickness, healthy homes for everyone, and the abolition of the Poor Law.
