ON TOUR.
A VISIT TO SOUTHLAND. By Telegraph—Press Association. Jnvercargill, Last Night. The group of touring North Island uiembers of Parliament were mot on Friday afternoon at Tapanui by prominent fsoutlilanders, and have since boon touring in the Southland rural district. On Saturday they loft Gore in the morning and visited Mataura, Wyndham and' the Fortrose districts, arriving in Invercargill in the evening. To-day they motored on to the Western Districts in the vicinity of_ the Waiau River. Tomorrow they will continue their tour towards Lumsden, and will return to join the northern express at Gore. The members express themselves as most favorably impressed at the quality of' rural Southland, and astonished at the enormous area of land suitable for dilution. ,
