Two hours later tlie Kairaki arrived in the stream, and it was ascertained that the vessel in tow was the auxiliary schooner Fairburn. a wellknown trader between Auckland, Napier, find Tinvaru. At 4 p.m. the schooner was brought inside the moles and berthed at: the (lladstono pier. Seen on arrival her master (Captain Thomson) stated that the vessel sailed from Tiniaru on Saturday last with a full cargo of produce for Wairoa. She will probably resume her voyage about the end of next week. The Fairburn is an auxiliary sehooner of SO tons. She has two engines of 30 h.p. each, driving a separate "screw. The owners are Messrs. Carabv and Co.. Napier.
