THE OLYMPIC GAMES. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Saturday. At a conference between the Sports Protection League and the Olympic Council Sir George Clifford said * that if the council decided on a definite Scheme for the representation of Now Zealand at the Olympic games in lfllfi he had no doubt the League would support the scheme in mauv ways. The University Senate decided to abolish the annual professorial con ferine o. holding that it is too expensive considering the results attained, and to set up some more suitable form of representation of the different faculties.
