ENTERTAINMENTS.
EMPIRE PICTURE PALACE. To-night will see the final screening of the present programme at the Empire. The usual matinee will be held commencing at 2.30 to-morrow, when a complete new programme will be screened.
THEATRE ROYAL PICTURES. A complete new series of films will be shown at the Theatre Royal to-night, at the matinee to-morrow, and again for the last occasion to-morrow night. The popular Lieut. Daring looms largely on the new programme in an engrossing international intrigue entitled, •''Lieut. Daring and The Plans of the Mine. Fields." The Kalem beauty, Alice Joyce is also featured ill an exciting romance, "The Smuggler's Daughter." A Western drama of a thrilling nature is ''Outlaw Yet a Iran," and the ever-wel-come Lubin trade mark is prominent in "The Physician of Silver Gulch." Interesting items are included with "Pathe London Gazette,' views of the iSnndmore District' and the "The Manufacture of Candles." A fine quartette of comic films complete a first rate selection. The brilliant Royal Orchestra will be in evidence with a captivating musical programme.
