THE TAILORS' DISPUTE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunedin, Last Night. The tailors' dispute was -heard before the Conciliation Commissioner, Mr. Tiiggs, to-day, and an agreement arrived at, providing for 48 hours a week and minimum wages of £2 5s The distribution of work on the team system is prohibited.
the rotary bore. There was a temporary cessation of work at the rotary bore yesterday, owing to a difference of opinion among a number of the men and the company as to the rates of pay for lengthened shifts. The difference was amicably settled yesterday afternoon, and work vi!l be resumed this morning.
