PETROLEUM.
The first lot of machinery for the Taranaki Oil Lands A. and F. Company (Air. E. Griffiths) will be landed to-mor-row at Wellington ex Covinthic, and should reach New Plymouth by tlie first steamer following. The machinery will commence drilling on Air. M. -Tones' section at Moturoa as soon as it is erected.
