5 TARANAKI ASSOCIATION MEETING. There is every indication that the f J forthcoming Taranaki Eifle Association I meeting will be successful. Numerous entries in all tne matches are assured, , whilst donations to the prize list are being freely given. The New Plymouth t Rifle Club has received cash donations { of about £2B, as well as several trophies. '.' _ Mr. T. King, secretary to the Assoj uiation. has received notification that , the Pohokura Rifle Club is contributing J £3, which they suggest should be . awarded for competition among the tyros, £3 for the highest and £2 for . the second highest aggregate score se- ,. cured by tyros in matches 1, 2. 3. 4 , and 5.
