By Telegraph—Press Association. Dnnediii, Saturday. For the second wool sale of tlie season,, to be held on Tuesday, 2C.550 bales have been catalogued, a record entry. The number of bales forward for the second sale last vear was 21.225. in 1911 22,139 and in 1910 24.176.

The New Zealand Loon and Mercantile S Agency Co., Ltd. and Reduced (Stratford blanch), report as follows: On Tuesday, 14th inst, we held our usual fortnightly sale in our Stratford yards, when there was a full yarding and a large attendance of buyers, bidding on all cattle yarded' being exceptionally - keen. We quote prices as follows: Mixed weaners 25s to 31s Gd, Shorthorn weaner heifers 30s to 325, Jersey and Holstoin heifers up to 37s .fid, 15 to 18months steers s!)s to 84s. for well-grown cattle; yearlings to Ifi-months empty heifers 55s to 72s fid. for Shorthorn sorts; colored heifers, up to 87s fid; 2-ycar heifers, showing .Tersey-Holstcin strains, up to 110s; 2 to 2'/ r year steers, 85s to 05s; springing heifers, 105s; store cows, young and in good store condition, realised from 60s to 85s; cows, in forward and fat condition, from 100s to 1255; bulls, small. 72s'.fid to 177s Gd, fol large good-conditioned bulls. Light racks and kittens' unchanged. Tallow: Prices are unchanged.
