Tbirtv-two inches fell at Bundaberg in 4S hours. The rivers are flooding the wharves, and low-lying lands are inundated. .Many washaways occurred, and the railway traffic is dislocated. A man named Bax was drowned while crossing a creek at didders. Received IS. 12.20 a.m. Brisbane, January 17. The rain has eased and the Hoods are receding.
