A. 11. Ellicott applied to transfer section I, block 3, Tangitu, to Mrs. A. I'reeee in exchange for freehold property at Palrncrsion North. Ellicott only acquired the land in May last. The "area is ■'>'.)">>/. acres and improvements are valued at i'loo2. The value of consideration is quoted as £3570. —Approved. Other transfers were approved as follows:—L H. Wiltshire, section 3, block Hi. Omona, to L. E. 13. Jackson and R. McTntyre; area. 1 (>73 acres. T. E. Ifoiinslow ami Matilda Rule to Matilda Rule and C. Hounslow, sections 1, 2 and 5, block 5, Egmont; area, C 8& acres. M. I. Jury to D. M. Pitcaithley, sections 15. 18. 10 and 21), block 4. Ngatimaru, area 1000 acres, in exchange for 459 acres in llawke's llav; Loritz Hansen, sections 103!) and 1601. New Plymouth, 2% acres, to F. P. Corkill; A. Mcßcth, sections 1 and 2, Manganui town belt, 59a. Or. lp., to .T. Foreman and J. F. Loveridge. T.he Board's consent to subdivision and transfer of part section 57, block 1, Ngaere. from Muniock and Lind to the Cardiff Co-operative Dairy Co| was eonfirmed. IMPROVED FARM SETTLERS.

Licenses were granted to the following improved farm settlers:—Section 24, block 1. Tangitu, G. Barlow; section 8, block 12. .Mapara, .T. Bain; section 25, block 11, Mapara, P. G. D. A. Guinan; section 5, block 12, Mapara, A. W. King; section 7. block 11. Mapara, P. Clark; section 6, block 7, Mapara, L. A. Higgins. CONVERSION INTO FREEHOLD. Leave to convert into freehold was granted as follows:—Section 88 block 10, Ngaere, to V/. J. Simpson; section 2, block 3, Ilawera, to John Cocker; section 12, block 7, Cape, to A. L. Richardson. EDUCATION RESERVES. It was decided to offer the following education reserve leases by auction at an upset rental of 5 per cent, on the ' prices stated opposite each:—Section 6, block 10. Upper Waitara, 10s per acre; section 1. block 9, Mahoe, 12s 6d per acre; section 3, block 3, Mahoe, 15s per acre. LANDS FOR DISPOSAL. It was decided to offei section 1, block 10, under part 3 of the Land Act, 1008, at a valuation of 20s per ac;'e; and section 23, Waitara West suburban, for sale by auction, at the upset price of £35 per acre. It was decided to dispose of a small piece of Crown land adjoining section 238, Moa, tc the owner of section 238, at a nominal price. Section 3, block 15, Ohura, is to be reoffered for sale under part 3 of the Land Act with the value of the improvements included in capital value of the land after revaluation. It was resolved to offer at auction the lease of sections 1-4, block 28, Opunake town, and 40, 47 and 48, Opunake suburban, for a period of ten years in terms of section 124 of the Land Act, 1908. The sections will be offered in two lots, and the present lessee (Tlios. Knowles) will lie given one month to remove his fencing. RANGER'S REPORT. Ranger Twiss reported having made 29 inspections over an area of 1671 acres. The improvements required were £8490, and those effected £ 13.190. There were five defaulters for improvement and three for residence. GENERAL. Messrs Terry were granted an area of ten acres adjoining their present holding, under O.R.i'.. at £3 per acre, subject to the Minister's approval. J. H. Robson interviewed the Board ill regard to timber lights over section 9. block 15. Waitara.—The Board resolved in favor of the disposal of the timber, the matter being left in the hands of the Commissioner to arrange. It was decided to call tenders for a live years' lease of section 10, block 10, Pouatu. subject to the usual conditions, in terms of section 130 of the Land Act, 1908. The Ohura School Committe applied for one acre south of the Domain.—lt was resolved to adhere to the previous resolution to grant one acre, the application for temporary occupation of additional land being declined. It was decided to grant a year-to-year lease of section 2, block 3, Aria town, to Norman Zadev, at a rental of 15s per annum. Oil the understanding that the section was cleared of noxious weeds, it was decided to grant Waata te Eiro a year-to-year lease of four acres in block 7, Aria township, west of sections 1 to 7, block 7, at a rental of 2s 0d per acre per annum. It wa.s resolved to offer for lease the unsold land in Aria town in lots and at a price to be fixed on the ranger's report and a scheme of subdivision. It was decided to allot section 7, block 4. Totoro. to A. E. Bloomfield under Renewable Lease at a valuation to be fixed, subject to the approval of the Minister. John Egarr was granted until June next to reside on section 5(1. Spotswood settlement. Tt was decided to offer, under O.R.P. tenure, 110 acres, being part section 13, block !). Opaku. to Mr. Bremncr, the adjoining owner, as a homestead site and means of access, subject to the approval of the Minister. Subject to the Minister's approval, section 7. block 12. Mapara, was allotted to •!. McFall on O.R.P. at a valuation to be made. Messrs Gibbon and Knott were granted a further lease of section 10, block 1. Oeo. for seven years at a rental of £1 per annum, under the usual conditions.

Mrs. Jf. A. Kxioy applied for exemption from residence on section 91, block 8, Wainiate. Tokaora settlement, oil account; of ill-health.—lt was resolved that the lessee must either reside or dispose of her interest.
