ALLEGED INCENDIARISM.
| El RES OX THE ARAHURA. By Telegraph—Press Association. I Wellington, Last Night. About six o'clock this evening a lire was discovered in the after transom of the steamer Arahura, lying at the wharf. The fire brigade was summoned, and in about half an hour the blaze was extinguished. Damage was done to the fittings and to some of the 'bedding stored in the transom. This is estimated at about £4O. Three hours later tlie brigade was summoned again to a tire in a saloon cabin nearly amidships, about £5 damage being done. Incendiarism is now suspected. The vessel's running will be affected by the fires.
