Before the Conciliation Council to-day an agreement was arrived at in the dispute between the Dunedin Brewers J3ottiers, Bottle Washers and AeratedWaters Union of Workers and Emplovers. Provision was made for 48 houis a week; The following wa"es were provided For men on corking machines, £2 10s; men employed as laboureis in bottling houses, £2 ss; men employed on iterated water bottling machines, filling glass .bottles, £2" 10s - youths between 14 and 15 years, Ps (id--15 to 16, 15s; 16 to 18, '£l; 18 to lflr' £1 os; 19 to 20, £1 10s; 20 to 21, £1 I.3s' The agreement will remain in force for two years.
