| 'EMPIRE PICTURE PALACE. I A powerful selection of motion pic- ■ tures comprises the new programme to be shown at the Empire Picture Palace this evening. The Gaumont Company are to the front with a magnificently coloured star picture, "A Lion Let Loose," said to be the limit in realism as applied to the cinematograph. As the title suggests the thrilling portion is supplied by wild animals, and never for one moment through the film is the excitement allowed to lapse. Another feature of exceptional merit is the. S. and A. subject, "The Little Sheriff," a sensational and nerve tingling Western melodrama, in which a clever little pantomimist plays the leading role. There is also the latest edition of "Pathe's London Gazette," "Customs in the Far East." "Tn the Ossan Valley," and a unique Kalem drama produced in the heart of Africa, "Missionaries in Darkest Africa." The comic section is specially arranged to cater for that love of the humorous, so pronounced with every audience. THEATRE ROYAL PICTURES. "The Mystery of Souls" and full sudporting programme was again shown to a good house last' evening. This fine selection will be screened for the last occasion to-night. The new programme to be introduced to-morrow is another star series of the latest feature pictures, direct from the City Circuit of John Fuller and Sons.
