Sydney, January 13. in reply to letters from the Industrial Registrar suggesting that Mount Kenibla should make reparation to Russell by reinstating him, the secretary of the company points out that in dismissing Russell at the end of a fortnight's notice the company was exercising a clear legal right. Tie denies victimisation or a desire to .strike at unionism. lie claims that the commissioner's findings justified the dismissal, and adds that the company does not acknowledge any obligation to render an account of its actions with regard to internal management. He considers that the reinstatement would be a fatal mistake and utterly subversive to proper discipline. He must act accordingly.
