HIS CONTINENTAL VISIT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 12, 5.5 p.m. Berlin, January 11. Sir Geo. Reid, in an interview with the Tage Blatt, said that his visit was made with the object of promoting direct commercial relations. Australian interests were well represented in Berlin by the establishment of an Australian Chamber of Commerce similar to that in Paris. The need was less pressing in Berlin than in Vienna.
