MINERS' WAGES. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, January 9. Scottish miners have lodged a claim for a 25 per cent, advance in wages. THE THREATENED STRIKE. Received 11, 12.15 a.m. Sydney, January 10. There is much unrest and threats of a general strike by the southern miners, owing to the non-reinstatement «sf Russell. Carmichael states that he has learned that the Mount Kembla Company does not intend to reinstate him, and, therefore, remitted the matter to the Industrial Court. Considering the extreme importance of the case, he has asked for the appointment of a special judge to deal with it.
