Lyel';. said that the electrical origin of the lire was absolutely impossible. Xo indications that the lire was caused by electricity had been discovered. Eraser, an electrical engineer, with large American experience, said he had inspected ihc mine since the lire, and the installation was lirst.-class, lie was unable to sec how the lire started. The provisions for safety were well carried out.
