DOUBLE DRONING FATALITY. By Telegraph—Press Association. ..Auckland, Last Night. ■ A sad, drowning' fatality occurred at Henderson to-day, resulting in the death of Sarah,Wright,"wife of W. H. Wright, farmer, and of.Miss Renie Parkinson, a young girl of 14. ' The party was out bathing in the Henderson creek, when Miss Harre got into difficulties. Another of the party succeeded in pulling her 0ut..'.,: While this was happening, Miss Parkinson slipped off a shelving ledge oyer.slippery rocks into a deep hole. Apparently Mrs. Wright tried to rescue her, but also fell into the hole. An alarm was given, and Mrs. Wright was pulled out, but the unfortunate woman was then dead. Miss Parkinson's body lias- hot been recovered.
