A STEAMER WRECKED.

OFF QUEENSLAND COAST. by. Cable—Press Association-Copyright. Sydney, January 7. A large steamer is reported to have been sighted recently stranded on the Lihon Reef, off the Queensland coast, with the mainmast and funnel missing! The vessel was apparently abandoned! She was first seen by an auxiliary ketch bound for New Guinea. The wreck appeared to be that of a large tramp bound probably for Java or China.
