When the Labor candidate for Blayney was outvoted, Mr. M'Gowen appealed to Laborites to support Mr. Beeby at f he second ballot. A conference of the Australian Workers' Union adopted a resolution protesting against Ministers supporting Mr. Beeby, declaring that the best interests of labor would be served by the defeat of Mr. Beebv.
