DISMASTED.
A SEA MYSTERY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received January 6, 12.25 a.m. Sydney, January 5. The captain of the Thora reports sighting a dismasted vessel 300 miles from Cape Farewell, apparently from Newcastle, coal laden. The vessel met trouble off the New Zealand coast. The Thora signalled, but got no reply.
