FIRES.
OUTBREAK AT TE KUITI. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright. Te Kuiti, Thursday. A fire occurred at midnight, and destroyed the block at the corner of Eora and King streets. The outbreak started in Mrs. Robertson's refreshment rooms, which were destroyed, also C. Erickson's paint shop and office, and Walker's boot shop. The brigade's good work prevented the lire spreading to Cheal's surveyors office and other shops and building's owned by Erickson, who k absent. The insurances are. unknown. A similar outbreak took place in the same buildings about two months ago.
