FIRES.
AUCKLAND RESIDENCE BURNED. By Telegraph—Press Association. v Auckland, Tuesday; A nine-roomed residence in Owen's road, owned by Edmund Maliony and occupied by W. B. Robinson, was totally destroyed by fire early this morning. The occupants were aroused by the sound' of the roaring flames and escaped hurriedly with their children. No furniture was saved. The furniture was insured for £3OO in the National Office. The loss is £2OO above the insurance, The insurance on the building is not available.
