THE AUSTRALASIAN CHAMPIONSHIPS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Hastings, Last Night. The Australasian Tennis Championships were continued at Hastings today. The weather was perfect, and there was a large attendance of people to see the noted English players. Five hundred new seats had to be, provided, and the meeting was a record for New Zealand. Grand play was witnessed throughout the day. Results:— Beamish (England) beat Fisher (New Zealand), (i—2, o—l, 7—5. Dixon and Parke (England) beat 01liver and Goss (New Zealand), 7—5. o—3 4—6, 0-7-1. Ollivier beat Peacock, o—o, o—3, o—3. Goss beat Dixon, 7 —5, o—2, 13—11. Welhvood and Waddhigton lost to Beamish and Lowe, o—o, o—2, 0 0. The semi-finals will be played to-mor-row, and the finals on Wednesday morning.
