A cable me.--.' ■ • received this morning from tlii- head office states that the Marconi Company has brought to a successful conclusion its action in the French courts against La Compagnie Generale Radio-Tclcgraphique and La Soeiete Francnise d'Klectrique and others for an infringement of the Marconi "master toning'' patent. The Marconi patent was declared valid by the courts, and an injunction was granted against the defendants. The court also ordered that the defendants' apparatus should be confiscated, and that they should, pay damage-* and costs. The subject of the action was the French equivalent of the English "'four sevens" Marconi patent, which wa.-. upheld and declared valid by the High Court in England. It was also the subject of a sueccessful action by the Marconi Company in America.
