HER COLONIAL VISIT. AN ELABORATE ITINERARY. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received December 29, 5.5 p.m. London, December 28. The Admiralty is detaching the New Zealand from Rear-Admiral Lewis Bayly's First Cruiser Squadron at the end of January, to show her flag overseas. She will be under the command of Captain Halsey, who had charge of the naval gun at Ladysmith. The New Zealand's executive officer will be Lieutenant Henry Grace, the creketer's son. The vessel wll call at St. Vincent, Ascension. St. Helena. Simon's Bay, Hobart and Lyttelton, spending two or three months in New Zealand ports. Naval parties will visit the chief inland towns of Now Zealand. The vessel may call at the West Indies on her return journey, and possibly visit Canada.
