PETTY-THIEVING AT EAST END.

To the Editor. Sir,—lt seems that a person cannot spend a holida3 T oil the beach without being robbed. This happened to a visitor to the East End bathing shed on Boxing Day, and I heard others crying out about the same thing. it ia of no use the committee saying that people should not take money down there. Where are they-to put it in safety while they are bathing? If this pilfering continues the East End bathing reserve will soon earn a name that will cause people to avoid the place. I trust those in charge will keep their eyes open in tiic future and keep tiiis popular resort safe to the public.—l am, etc., LOSER. Methodist Church.
