The Springboks who have, already defeated Scotland and Ireland added to ilicir victories by defeating Wales. Certainly it must have been a very close struggle, as the! Springboks only won by the nanow margin of a penalty goal to nil. The visitors' total score against the three'lnternational teams so far met. is .->7 points to nil. They have only to add England, whom they meet on January ■fill, to their laurels, to win the quadruple crown, a feat that the historical "All Blacks" failed to accomplish. The Union called upon the club to dispense with its coach. Th.it "it has now been decided that the International football match between Scotland and Franco .-ball be proceeded with" implies that the foregoing had made a breach between the French and Scottish authorities.
