BRITISH INSURANCE ACT.
THE DOCTORS' UNION. REMARKABLE PROCEEDINGS. By; Cable —Press Association—Copyright. London. December 26. A meeting of four hundred doctors, on the chairman's casting vote, decided to accept the terms of the local Insurance Association. Panels of doctors are assured in East and !-joutli London, and the majority of the mining districts. There was a remarkable meeting of Middlesex doctors willing to work under the Act. The Insurance Commissioners announce that doctors may charge higher lees than the Act allows, if the insured patient agrees to pay the difference.
