Mr. Holman, in announcing his early departure for London, said he was going to recuperate after his strenuous political labors. He had no intention of supplanting the Agent-General. He did apply to succeed Mr. T. A. Coghlan when his term was up, but withdrew the application when Mr. Beeby resigned-. Mr. Coglilan's term will probably be extended for two years. He denied the rumours of his intention to leave the Labor party. A JEALOUS HUSBAND. , Perth, December 21. The Frew tragedy at Kalgoorlie was the result of jealousy.
