ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES

FOUND DROWNED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Saturday. The naked body of a man was found in the harbour. Near-by, on the rocks, were clothes of a man of medium stature, showing evidence of much wear. Cashmere socks, marked with the letter "Y," and a singlet were found on a vacant section 300 yards distant, with a note attached signed "X.Y.Z.", on which was written "Who finds this vest may keep it. It is too much bother to take it hack to Auckland."
