RACES IN WELLINGTON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. At Saturday's Swimming Carnival there was a. large attendance. The weather was fine. The results of the principal items were:—looyds Handicap: McLean, 12 see, 1; Solomons, scr., 2; Robinson, 14sec, 3. Time, 69scc. Solomons won the second heat in this event in 48 2-5 sec, the fastest time ever recorded in Wellington. 200 yds Relay Race—Lyall Bay, 23sec, 1; Swifts, 19sec, 2; Wellington 13see, 3. Manly (scr.) came in fourth.
