STANDING TOGETHER. By CaJble—Press Association—Copyright. I Sydney, December 10. The Herald! commenting on the growing mutual attitude in Australia and New Zealand, says that perhaps either the Dominion was beginning to recognise that the difficulties and responsibilities of its lot! were greater tfaan they appeared at the first flush of enthusiasm, or perhaps the darkening clouds in the international situation might be a lesson similar to Aesop's fable of the bundle of sticks. At any rate, there appeared to be a growing sense that in matters relating to our national integrity, and with the integrity of the Pacific and the British Empire, our interests were not individual -but identical. In order to further join our destinies, there "was no necessity for New Zealand to sacrifice a vestige of her individuality.
