LORD LIVERPOOL.

RECEPTION AT AUCKLAND. By Telegraph—Press" Association. Auckland, Last Night. Lord Liverpool, who arrived by the Malwa this morning, was entertained unofficially at luncheon this afternoon by the Mayor and City Councillors. There was a lasge attendance, including several members of Parliament. Speeches of welcome were made by the Mayor and Prime Minister, and Lord Liverpool made a happy speech in reply. Lord and Lady Liverpool left for Wellington in company with the Prime Minister by a special train this evening at 0.15 o'clock, which will reach Wellington about mid-day' to-morrow.
