A HERMAN" PROTEST. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Berlin, December 17. Aero-nautical circles protest against the sale of a Parseval airship to Britain. A DIRIGIBLE WRECKED. London. December 17. The dirigible Beta, with four passengers, started on an experimental voyage from London. The carburetter froze, causing a breakdown, and the Beta alighted on some trees fringing the Empress Eugenie's residence on Farnborough Hill. The cage was'damaged and the occupants severely shaken. After having been suspended for some time a bough pierced the envelope, which deflated and released the ship. The Beta then sank to the ground and was wrecked.
