ONE MORE UNFORTUNATE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Tuesday. The inquest on the body of the infant found in a brief hag on the wharf on November 22 was resumed to-day. The police reported that there was no clue to its kienLity. The jury returned a verdict of wilful murder against a person or persons unknown. RUN OVER BY A TRAM. Christchurch, Last Night. A child named Alexander Pringle Campbell, four years of age, was killed by a tramcar in Lower High street. The child was seen to cross the street, and a ear coining towards the city from AYoolston stfnck him. knocked him down and passed over his body. Apparently his skull was fractured, and both arm's ware broken.
