EMPIRE PICTURE PALACE. The new programme to be shown at the Empire to-night includes a number of special feature pictures, prominent amongst tli : s nuoiber being Selig's fine educational subject, "Life With a Circus." Very few have any conception of the many things which must be seen to with the precision and regularity of clock-work n connection with the business behind the scenes of a mammoth ciivus. Hero we witness the various animals as they are being trained for new acts. The elephants, horses, zebras, camels and animal waggons present a vast concourse of animated bustle and business, all controlled with the greatest skill in their disposition. The arrival of the circus trains and the business of unloading is graphically shown, also the commissary arrangements. Inside, the circus we see the actors coming out of the tents to their dressing-rooms, and then into the big top again. Then the picture shows, ring feats and high air spectacles, and lastly, the crowd leaving when the show is over. The supporting items are all first-class subjects as the advertising column shows. THEATRE ROYAL PICTURES. There will be no pictures showing in ihe Theatre Royal either to-night or tomorrow night, but the pictures will again occupy the Theatre on Friday night, when a complete change of programme will lie repeated.
