THE LIGHTHOUSE COLLISION. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 16, 9.15 p.m. Adelaide, December 16. In connection with the Wonga Shoal lighthouse accident, the Court suspended •Jones's certificate for one year, but granted him a chief officer's certificate for that period. A cablegram from Adelaide dated N> vembcr 18 said that the steamer Dims.lale, from Bahia (Hrazi), collided with the lighthouse on the Wonga Shoals. The structure fell with a crash and disappeared in the water. Two lighthouse keepers perished. The vessel was undamaged. The loss is estimated at £20,000.
