He was thirty years in the service of the bank, and was implicitly trusted. After advancing money on securities he abstracted them and obtained personal loans on them from other banks. Over two hundred firms and wealthj' persoas have been partially or wholly ruined. Two female cashiers who have been arrested have confessed that they were aware of Idman's irregularitis.
