The company may gradually shift ils lield of operations from New Zealand. The report states that in New Zealand the limited opportunities of obtaining further kauri forests in New Zealand, and in pursuance of its declared policy of extending the life of the company, tlic directors have purchased assets in Australian jarrah sawmills, and is hopeful that the purchases will be a material factor in the desired direction.
