A WINDFALL. , Sydney, December 7. Advices have been received that Mr. Montgomery Smart, a passenger drowned on the Titanic, bequeathed liis whole estate to Mr. Towney, editor of the Farmer and Grazier newspaper, and Mrs. Browne, of Sydney. Smart formerly had a cold, storage business in Sydney, and Mr. Twomey and Mm. Browne assisted him. Before returning to America in 1897 he made a will in their favour. Subsequently he became president of the Cold Storage and Shipping Company, and a large stockholder in several other big concerns interested in stock and cold storage, valued at £16.000. Shares in other companies also represent a considerable amount.
