REDISTRIBUTION OF SEATS. Sydney, December 4. Liberals are well pleased with the redistribution scheme. They claim that the fiw country seats wiped out mostly favored Labor, and have been replaced by live suburban seats, most of which will go to the Liberals. They anticipate a swing of the balance in their favor. THE REFERENDUM BILL. Melbourne, December 4. The Federal House passed the Referendum Bill, dealing with trade and commerce. THE QUEENSLAND LIQUOR BILL. Brisbane, December 4. The House came to a deadlock over the Liquor Bill, the Council insisting on its amendments.
