MT. LYELL MINE.

FURTHER EXPLORATIONS. By Cable —Press Association —Copyright. Hobart, December 2. The 500 ft. level at North Lyell was explored. A body supposed to be that of Park, was discovered. There was no no sign of tire at the 400 ft. or 500 ft. levels, but the temperature was higher than it should have been, indicating apparently that the fire was not extinguished. Owing to the flames, the explorers did not attempt to remove the body in the cage. —.■■ ii i tT
