LONDON MARKETS. By Cable-.Press Association—Copyright. London, Noveihber 27. Wool. At the sales there was good competition for all sorts. Opening prices were maintained. Rabbit skins.—The sales opened strong. Three thousand bundles were on oiler, and practically everything was sold at 15 to 20 per cent, advance.

Tallow.—One thousand and fifty casks were offered, and 205 sold.. Mutton, fine, brought 35s 3d, medium 31s Gd; beef, fine 38s,i medium 33s Gd.

WEBSTER BROS.' REPORT. Poultry.—At the mart on Saturday our pens were taxed to their utmost, close on 500 birds being penned. Prices were well maintained and some good prises were realised. Amongst the birds penned were lino, lines of turkeys, gobblers and hens, which met with a ready sale. Prices as under.:-Hens (fat) Is Gd to 2s 7d, young 2s 3d to 3s Id. puflets (young) 2s to 2s <Jd," forward 3s Id to 3s lid, cockerels (young)' Is Gd to 2s Sd, fat Is Td to i!s 10d,- ducks 2s to 3s Gd, drakes 2s 3d to 2s 9d, turkey gobblers 10s to 12s Gd. turkey hens 'ss to (3s Gd, chicks 3y«d to lOd. The usual line of auction sundries realised satisfactory prices. Furniture.—On Wednesday, on account of Mr. L. F. Webster, at his residence in Lemon street, we held a. clearing sale of all his household furniture and effects. There was a large atendance of. the public and each line offered met with, keen competition.

Fruit.—During the week small lots of early fruit have conic to hand and met ' with a ready sale.
